The Science

What is in the bottle, why it is there, and what the evidence actually supports.

This page is not a claim that our products will do anything for you specifically. It is an account of the ingredients we chose and the reasoning behind each one, so that you can check the work.

Why form and dose matter more than the ingredient list

Two products can both say “magnesium” on the front. One uses magnesium oxide, which is cheap and poorly absorbed. The other uses chelated magnesium glycinate, which is bound to an amino acid, better tolerated, and gentler on the stomach. The label looks similar. The product is not.

The same is true of dose. An ingredient studied at 600mg and delivered at 50mg is decoration. This is what a proprietary blend conceals: not the recipe, but the amounts.

The five systems

Cellular energy — NAD+ and β-NMN

NAD+ is a coenzyme every cell uses in energy metabolism, and its levels decline measurably with age. β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) is a direct precursor the body uses in NAD+ synthesis, and it has become one of the most actively studied molecules in longevity research. Our NAD+ Booster delivers 500mg per capsule.

The honest position: this is an active area of research rather than a settled one. Human trials are ongoing and the long-term picture is still being written.

Stress response — KSM-66 Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen with a long history in Ayurvedic practice and one of the better-studied botanicals in modern supplementation. We use KSM-66, a standardised full-spectrum root extract, at 600mg — the range used in most published work rather than a token amount.

Metabolic support — Berberine HCl

Berberine is a plant alkaloid that has been studied extensively for its role in glucose metabolism. It is one of the few botanicals with a substantial clinical literature behind it. Our Metabolic delivers 790mg per serving.

If you take prescription medication, particularly anything affecting blood sugar, speak to your doctor before adding berberine.

Sleep and recovery — Reishi, L-Theanine, Valerian, Melatonin

Sleep is where repair happens, which makes it the least optional part of any longevity protocol. We offer two approaches deliberately. Sleep Ritual uses botanicals traditionally associated with calm — reishi, L-theanine, lemon balm, passionflower, valerian — without melatonin. Sleep Formula adds 2mg of melatonin for people who want direct support for their sleep-wake cycle.

Melatonin is a hormone, not a vitamin. More is not better, and 2mg is a considered amount rather than the 10mg found in many products.

Cognition — Bacopa, Phosphatidylserine, DHA

Focus Complex combines Bacopa monnieri, traditionally used to support memory, with phosphatidylserine and DHA — structural components of brain cell membranes — over a complete B-vitamin base. Bacopa in particular is slow-acting; the research protocols run twelve weeks, not twelve days.

What we do not know

Nutritional science moves slowly and reverses itself often. Some of what is promising today will look naive in ten years. Individual response varies enormously, and no supplement compensates for poor sleep, no movement, or a bad diet.

We would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.

Manufacturing

All Nuvori products are manufactured in a cGMP-registered facility in the United States. cGMP refers to Current Good Manufacturing Practice, the FDA framework covering facility conditions, process controls, and record-keeping.
